Comprehensive Solutions to Elevators

Since elevators are located inside buildings and they are obstructed by lift wells and the elevator casings, there is absolutely no signal in elevators, which always bring inconvenience to the users in elevators. Therefore, the wireless network signal coverage for elevators is very beneficial and important to the improvement of operator’s image and reputation.

Solutions: Lay feeders on the lift wells and install indoor panel directional antennas equidistantly in association with the indoor distribution system to realize the continuous coverage for the elevator operating space, in order to avoid the disconnection caused by fast fading when users enter or leave elevators.

Project Example: ShenyangHui Bao International Garden

ShenyangHui Bao International Gardenis regarded as a modern living community in an unusual large scale. It covers 270,000 m2 with more than 40 buildings and 143 elevators in the first two phases. Solutions: Allowing for the traffic surplus of outdoor BSs can be used to meet the indoor traffic requirement, so we applied Fiber Optic Repeaters as the main equipments to the indoor areas. Because there are a large number of elevators, we divided the coverage area into several separate regions according to the flat allocation, and then adopted the point-to-multipoint coverage method to implement the coverage for these regions respectively. Moreover, we use Boosters in some large regions to expand the coverage area, thereby completely finishing the coverage for the 143 elevators.
