Comprehensive Solutions to the Dispatch of Wireless Network Resources
There is always a sudden increase of customers in shopping malls on holidays, a large number of audiences in stadiums whenever there are matches, and the concert houses are packed out whenever there are big shows. Hence, sudden high traffic is usually triggered by big events mentioned above, which can result in lack of wireless network resources or traffic unbalance at each cells in the same BS coverage area, and consequently make it difficult for MSs to access to network. All these problems can be effectively solved by adopting wireless network resource intelligent dispatch system even if no more carriers are added.

When the sudden traffic is not too high, using wireless network resources intelligent dispatch system to dispatch frequency resources between sectors between BSs or in the same BS. This not only facilitates the capacity expansion of the sectors with sudden high traffic, but also makes the traffic equivalent among sectors; during the high-traffic period, the system can also dispatch the frequency resources of surrounding traffic-unoccupied BSs to other BSs known to be deficient in resources for the purpose of capacity expansion. And the original resource assignment would be recalled after the high-traffic period. All the performances of the system mentioned above can help solve problems at low cost, flexibly distribute resources, and effectively improve the frequency utilization.
Project Example: Changzhou Industrial College Intelligent Dispatch of Wireless Network Resource

Changzhou industrial college is located on the outskirt of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. There is a mobile BS on the campus. The third sector of it covers students’ dormitories and the other two covers the rural area nearby. Since many students used mobile phones from 18:00 to 23:00, much higher speech traffic occurs in the third sector during that period, but there is relatively low traffic within the other two sectors.
Solutions: We used the wireless network resource intelligent dispatch system to dispatch the carriers from the other two sectors to the sector on campus during the busiest period of time, and the original assignment of two sectors would be recalled during the other period of time. This not only provides the dormitories with enough capacity efficiently and thereby meets the high traffic demands, but also, as shown in the statistic, equalizes the traffic excellently between the other two sectors.
